„Coup de Foudre“ means „love at first sight“.

The characteristics of the materials wood and silicone are opposing each other and at the same time they complete each other very nicely. The silicone is molded into chiselled pieces of wood. Like that it takes over wooden characteristics without disregarding its own materialistic peculiarity. This creates an interesting confusion for the observer about where begins and ends which material. To me the spontanious, fabulous mix of these materials is like a „coup de foudre“.
